Sri Lanka is a year-round destination. However, for this itinerary covering Pinnawala, Nuwara Eliya, and Kandy, the best months are December to April, when the weather is pleasant and ideal for sightseeing.

It usually takes 5–6 hours with stops at Pinnawala. Roads are scenic but hilly, so expect a slightly longer journey.
